July 4th, 2009. Angie has been placed in a foster-to-adopt home in Deep Cove and is doing well. We should know by mid next week if her adoption will be finalized. Please keep checking her adoption status here as we will try to keep her post/bio current. Angie is one very sweet dog!
June 18th, 2009. Angie is a very sweet, spayed Pointing Griffon mix about 2 yrs old. She gets along very well with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. Angie, however, has shown way to much interest in her foster home's cats and would be best in a home without kitties. Sadly, Angie only weighs 39 lbs and would be much better at a weight of 50 lbs. Angie was tied up 24/7 and starved. It's amazing how some dogs can totally recover from such horrible treatment and give us humans another chance to prove ourselves. Angie will be learning her house and leash manners while in foster care. Today, she went for a walk with her new foster family at Lynn Creek and she walked very well on a no-pull harness. She appears to like the water too :) Knowledge of the breed would be very helpful when applying.
Angie was spoiled today at FETCH in North Vancouver. Liz did an amazing job grooming her and all the staff fell in love with Angie. FETCH has been very gracious with our rescues and does an AMAZING job. We can't thank them enough.
