My Story

Meet Archibald but we call him Archie. Archie is believed to be a 2-year-old Shih Tzu poodle Boston terrier mix. Archie is sweet, can be bossy, active but easily calms down. Archie has a big disposition and it's impossible not to notice him. He is stubborn but not too bad. He has his sweet tendency which makes up for his bullheadedness. Archie loves being part of the pack. He's learned so much already. He appreciates his quiet time and space but over is an active playful pack member. Archie was an owner who surrendered, 3 homes in just under a year. Archie has learned he can scare humans and get what he wants by being a vocal bully. Being an asshole came naturally and it's an easily learned manner when it gets you what you want. He is harmless! A fraud. No bite in his bark. He's learned it scares people into giving in. Smart little shit. That was the case until he came to us. Archie has been with us for 16 months. Learning to be a dog, potty training, how to play with others, obey, walk away, and tone his attitude down. Archie is a butthead and a bully at most. But he is also so sweet, simple very playful, and ever so happy. He is also very food and praise-motivated. Making him the easiest little dog to work with. Took him a minute to agree but after months of proper care, his training followed and came easy. He is now the best groom, great with cats and dogs, and excellent with all humans including kids. Nonetheless, he will try his antics. Just in case there's that 1 human who will believe his little heart is a beast. Archie is ready for his happy forever. A fenced-in yard with at least 1 playful dog is preferred, and daily walks to burn his energy and stimulate his greedy little bully mind. Archie is available for adoption. He is active outgoing and stubborn. But he is also sweet, sensitive, snuggly, cuddly, and available to be your one and only. Don't let his foolish behavior scare you off. He's harmless but don't tell him I'm letting it be known. We are hoping he and Ms. Mable get lucky and are adopted together. They both are great buddies. Archie is house and crate trained, up to date on 3 years of all age-appropriate core vaccines including lepto, and corona, as well as the rabies vaccine, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped with free lifetime registration and unlimited updated info ability at no additional fee, spay/neutered, heartworm lyme tested negative within 6 months and current on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention year round.
