Aubrey

Aubrey is a lively and outgoing girl. She is only 22 lbs, but could gain a few. She is about 1 year old and very playful. She looks just like a "Kooiker dog", a breed of dog from Holland that is not very well known in the US. She also has some of their traits. As soon as you take her out, her nose hits the ground and she gets going. She will bark at cats and try to chase them too. She has a lot of hunting instinct. Her photos don't do her justice, she is much cuter. She also loves to snuggle. Aubrey's hair should grow back beautifully, we had to cut a lot off since she was very matted. She will have long feathers on her ears again once it is grown back.

This organization is run by volunteers only and we try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few volunteers, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about the animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on the Pet Rescue website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as possible, usually within 5 days. Pet Rescue doesn't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
