You are going to want to know Babs and her incredible, heartbreaking story.
Babs was saved by On The Run Pet Rescue after being a stray for several months, reportedly finding shelter in a large container, making herself a bed out of old holiday decorations. Her back left leg had an old fracture that she had been living with all on her own.
At first, Babs was understandably cautious with all of the new people caring for her, but we have watched her blossom into a loving, playful girl who's resilience shines through her big brown eyes.
While Babs history is unknown to us, we do know that she loves being taken care of! She loves playing in the yard, and loves blankets. Our veterinarian estimated her to be about 8 years old, and we suspect that she is a Heeler mix.
Babs is finally ready to find a home of her very own, through our Foster-to-Adopt program. We are continuing to monitor her healing leg and will require that she comes to visit our clinic for monthly check-ups/radiographs.
Please come by today and meet our amazing Babs!
