BABY (unchained)

Meet Baby: We received an email recently asking for help with a dog who was chained in a cow pasture for two years without any shelter. We understand that Baby lived the first 5 years of her life in a home with her family and children. Due to a divorce she was chained in the field. After two years the ACO was able to talk the owner into giving her up. An email went out asking if anyone could take her. We said we had room. Many thanks to everyone who made this rescue possible, including Dogs Deserve Better, the ACO and transport who got this wonderful little girl to New Jersey. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. Her coat was in such bad shape that after 3 attempts to have her groomed she had to be taken to a vet and knocked out to have the rest of her coat shaved. So here she is in all her glory. Look at that face. UPDATE: BABY WAS DELIVERED TO HER NEW DAD TONIGHT. HE HAS BEEN WAITING FOR HER SINCE HE HEARD ABOUT HER. STILL GRIEVING FROM THE LOSS OF HIS 17 YR OLD CHOW.
