Born in March 2024 and currently residing in a loving foster home in Texas, Bacon is a unique blend of independence and affection. He may not be super cuddly right off the bat and can be a bit stiff initially, but don't let that deter you. Once you earn his trust, he'll let you hold him—but only on his own terms. Bacon came to us as an owner surrender along with his mom and six siblings. Despite this rocky start, his resilient and spirited nature shines through. He's playful and spunky, always testing boundaries and keeping things lively. His intelligence and quick learning abilities mean he's always ready for a new challenge or game. Despite his independent streak, Bacon's loyalty and affection shine through once he's comfortable. If you're looking for a smart, adventurous companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your days with joy, Bacon is the perfect pup for you! OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS OR COLORADO BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas or Colorado. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
