Introducing Bailey, a charming 1-year-old lap princess who’s looking for a special home where she can truly shine. Bailey was previously owned by an elderly couple who, due to unforeseen circumstances, could no longer care for her properly. Now, Bailey is ready to find a loving family who can meet her specific needs and provide her with the comfort she craves. Bailey is a sweet and affectionate girl who absolutely adores being a lap dog. She’s happiest when she’s snuggled up close, enjoying the warmth and love of her human companions. Her ideal home would be a quiet one, where she can have her very own cozy spot to curl up and feel safe. Bailey has been accustomed to using puppy pads for potty training, so she will need some assistance adjusting to a new routine. Patience and consistency will help her transition smoothly to a more traditional potty training method. Although Bailey has a strong aversion to cats—she’ll growl and bark at them—she gets along well with other small and medium-sized dogs, and has shown no issues with them. She’s also comfortable around older teenagers but is quite scared of young children. Because of this, she would thrive in a calm environment where she can build trust at her own pace. We believe Bailey might be a Chihuahua/Pug mix, with her petite size and endearing personality. Her specific needs mean she requires a thoughtful and understanding home, ideally with someone who appreciates the unique quirks of a lap-loving dog.
