Bailey was brought into rescue when his mom went into a nursing home. He is 12 1/2 yrs old. He came into rescue and passed out. His bloodwork showed extremely anemic. We took to Metropolitan Veterinary Specialist. Then below.

Bailey said- whew- another busy day for him! Our precious Bailey has us on a roller coaster. He was hospitalized at Metropolitan Veterinarian last weekend for being extremely anemic. Ultrasound showed an intestinal mass. We either provided pallative care or surgery. We opted for surgery. He got to come home for Christmas and surgery was scheduled for today with our vets. We knew if he had cancer, and it spread, he would not be coming home. Well..... the doctors could not find any mass! I think we are all kind of stumped. We were thrilled to go get Bailey. He has had no more problems, and just had a dental Feb 22. You have to admit Bailey is just a doll isn't he?
Bailey is part of our senior pet program. We pay vet fees on our senior pets. We prefer to use our vet in Indiana but we work with your vet!. Bailey does well with other dogs. He currently weighs 23 lbs
