My Story

Bailey is a sweet, happy lab who loves his people and is eager to please! He originally came to the shelter through no fault of his own when his person was unable to care for him. They said that he did well with other resident dogs and was housebroken and crate trained. His person described Bailey as affectionate and playful and said that he loves toys and playing fetch. Bailey spent several weeks in a foster home too- heres what his foster said: Bailey is a lovable lab puppy with a heart as big as his boundless energy! At first he was a little bit timid, but within a day he revealed his playful, sweet, silly and affectionate personality and was eager to shower his humans with love. One of Bailey's greatest joys is being close to his humans. Whether it's cuddling or following us around the house, his favorite spot is right by your side. Bailey has a lot of energy that he loves to get out by racing around the yard and chasing after toys. When it's time to unwind, Bailey's favorite pastime is sleeping in the silliest positions. From sprawling out with his legs splayed in all directions to curling up in a cozy ball with his favorite toys, his sleeping habits never fail to bring a smile to our faces. Above all, Bailey is a loyal dog who wants nothing more than the love and attention of his humans. Bailey loved sleeping near his foster people night and is a very cuddly boy. He was housebroken while in his foster home and would sit by the door to signal that he needed to go outside. He loves belly rubs and his favorite toys are a bone and a rope toy. He again did well in a crate and was described as goofy, loyal, friendly, loving, and smart. Bailey shares his kennel at the shelter politely and has been social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Hed like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit. Ask to meet Bailey today!
