My Story

Hi there, we are Bailey and Scout, two Texas transplants that are possibly mother and daughter. We are looking for a home together. Here is some other information from our Wisconsin foster home. Daily Routine: They like to go for walks, short or long and really smell everything! They will sometimes bark when they got on a trail of something! When we are working from home, they move from dog bed to crate to dog bed. They will sometimes cuddle with each other, sometimes not. They do well in their crates at night and during the day. What I love to do: Walks, cuddling with each other, sunbathing, chasing squirrels and other outdoor animals. Bailey likes to play with toys, blankets, and other random objects; she does not really chew on anything, just drags them through the house. Personal goals: Bailey needs to lose some weight so continued walks and a healthy diet. Bailey has previously had ear infections and will need regularly cleanings and surveillance. Bailey has also experienced some seizures but bloodwork is normal so continued monitoring is needed at this time. Favorite thing to do with my best friend: We believe Scout is Bailey's daughter and Bailey will look for Scout if she is missing and vice versa. They do well with other dogs and cats. Scout likes to cuddle with other dogs, if they let her. Kind of family do I want: Their ideal house is adults only with another dog that Scout can bond with. They would also like a family that has time to go for regular walks. Biggest fears: Scout is very scared and skittish. She does not like little kids or men. She is slowly opening up but continues to spend most of her days hiding in her crate or laying in the corner on a dog bed. Bailey is not afraid of much. Ideal weekend plans: Bailey is spunky and outgoing, she has no cares in the world and will do what she pleases. Scout needs someone who will be very patient and loving. Once she opens up to you, she will get spurts of a true puppy and play and cuddle with you.
