Hi there, I'm Baja Man, and I'm ready to embark on a new adventure with my future family! At just 8 months old and 60 pounds, I may seem like a big pooch, but deep down, I'm just a scruffy baby looking for love and companionship. Life took a little turn for me when my previous owner couldn't keep me anymore, but I'm hopeful that my forever family is out there waiting for me. I'll admit, I can be a little nervous when I first meet new people, but once I warm up to you, I promise to be the best furry friend you could ask for. I've been making pals with other dogs here at the shelter, so I think I'd do well in a home with another confident dog companion. I've even lived with cats before, although I think introductions with new animals should be taken slowly, just to be safe. While I'm a big bundle of energy who loves going for walks and romping around in a fenced yard, I could use a little help with my leash skills – but hey, who doesn't love a work in progress? Despite my initial shyness, I'm a goofy and playful puppy at heart, and I'm worth every bit of effort it takes to win me over.
