Bala

Bala (pronounced BAA LA) A 1 year old spayed female with lots of energy and love! Bala is true to her breed and will need ongoing training. The pros: playful with dogs, did great meeting dogs in training and another foster 1 on 1. She has been in training for over 6 weeks now and making progress! Bala LOVES car rides and is an expert navigator! She needs to be secured as she has tendency to jump out of car window to check surroundings out. Bala is very loving! comes to her human for pets and is a leaner! She regularly helps clean resident dogs such as licking their ears and feet. She needs to be monitored as she can lick too much. Bala LOVES to run, play and roll in grass/mud! Knows basic commands. Spends weekdays in large kennel without issue; barks short term after being put in. I think this is mainly because she is being seperated from resident dogs. She is an expert detective and smells everything! The cons: She will resource guard so needs redirection at times. Bala is also mouthy with other dogs. She will bark a bit excessively at some dogs so prong collar is needed to get her attention. Bala is an alpha but gets along with other dogs. Shes not aware of her size and can paw a little rough to show love or get attention. Bala is being fostered close to Milwaukee International airport and can be seen on weekends.
