Looking for a snuggly bear to cuddle up with? Well you have come to the right place. Meet Balu, the most cutest Chocolate Lab mix you will ever meet. Balu came into Take Paws Rescue very shy and timid but that didnt slow down her motivation for food during feeding time. With that being said it will be easy to gain her trust. Balu is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs around 49 LBS, she will not get any bigger but need some TLC to gain some weight to fill out. Balu is very shy and nervous at first but after some time she will be your shadow and best friend. She is a snuggle bug that would love to sleep in bed or on the couch next to you with a soft cuddly blanket. Balu loves her toys espectially the squeaky toys, but sometimes would prefer to be right next to you. Balu does well in the car, she likes to come upfront to see whats going on but will go back to the back seat and lay down with no problem. Balu is the sweetest girl you will ever meet, she is learning how to be a dog and is excelling so fast. She is quickly learning that she has a voice and she can use it. She likes to howl and talk when she thinks no one is looking. She does well walking on a leash, and is crate trained, but is slowly getting down potty training but with a schedule and a routine she will get it down to a T. Balu is also syaped and UTD on all her vaccines. Balu is dog and cat friendly, she also is kid friendly but with more considerate kids since she can be nervous. She is very much so looking forward to meeting her forever family! The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
