My name "Bambu" is derived from "bamboo" of course and I want to share with you three characteristics that are true for bamboo, the plant, and Bambu, the dog (that's me):
1. Bamboo has regeneration superpowers -- and so do I! You will come home after a long day of work and look into my smiling face and -- poof! -- all the energy comes back and we go for a walk and play and then snuggle.
2. Bamboo is really strong -- and so am I! I was found as a stray, and it was a bit scary to be out there all by myself, not knowing where my next meal would come from and where to sleep. But I didn't let this get me down and stayed strong until a nice officer found me and took me to the shelter.
3. Bamboo is also very flexible -- and so am I! As you can tell from point #2, I have lived through some uncertainty, but I didn't waste a moment when I got here to the shelter and adjusted in no time and made new friends fast and furiously.
