Bandit

Meet Bandit!!!! This 7 year old 15lb sweetie is looking for his forever family. He came from a home where he was a very loved pet, but his family could sadly no longer care for him. He's fully vetted with a recent dental cleaning. His foster mom says: "Bandit is a super sweet, super chilled 7 year old dude who would be happy in just about any home. The basics: he's crate trained, potty trained, not vocal, and OK on a leash and OK alone in the apartment. He is shy to the city to start out (I get it -- it's loud!) but with each walk he is getting more curious about the sights and sounds of NYC. He's pretty dog agnostic - he's super chilled if a dog comes up to him and mostly ignores dogs on our walks. He's getting more curious at the small dog park though, so I would be surprised if he had some playful spirit with the right dog :) We ran into a cat on the street and he couldn't care less and is a little shy with new humans but warms up pretty quickly. So far he hasn't played with any toys and would prefer to be hanging out with me on the couch. He also likes his alone time and does a really cute thing -- if he's sleeping in the other room every 30 min or so he will come and check on me and poke his head around the corner, start wagging his tail vigorously to say hi and then goes back to sleep :) He's super happy to walk with me as far as I'd like to go - but his energy level is pretty laid back. He's kind of the perfect companion?! If you feel like going on a long walk, he's happy to come with but also happy to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. He'll sleep through the night in his crate but would also love to sleep in bed with you. He is just so incredibly sweet, he is perfect for anyone who has a lot of love to give and wants a pup who will do the same in return <3" INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
