You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Barbara! She ticks off all the boxes for an ideal dog, although she does have some mobility challenges. Barbara is excellent in her kennel, where she also sleeps at night. She gets along great with other dogs, enjoying both playtime and cuddles with them. She's a good traveler in the car. Barbara rarely barks, usually only when she's excited during play with other dogs. If she feels stuck on a rug and can't cross the wooden floor, she might whine. While she manages well in her wheelchair for short periods, she struggles on hard flooring and prefers carpet or rugs. She's an amazing little dog! Barbara is generally fine with strangers, a bit reserved initially but quick to warm up. Despite her limitations, she's fond of snuggling, whether on furniture or with a fuzzy blanket and dog bed. Barbara adores playing with her toys, chewing on bones, and engaging with the other dogs in the household. Despite her mobility issues, she's just as active and playful as ever. One of her ears always stands up, while the other never does. Barbara's typical day involves spending time at home with my husband, lounging on her dog bed, playing with the other dogs, and taking naps in her kennel. Several days a week, she accompanies me to the vet clinic where she spends the day kenneled. She receives plenty of attention and love from everyone at the clinic, watching us work and interacting with various dogs. She's a joy in the kennel, and her involuntary little kicks are absolutely adorable as she hops around in and out of her cart. Barbara is from an owner surrender.
