This sweetheart is Barbie. She is a 5 year old terrier/boxer mix and she weighs around 51 lbs. She was surrendered back to us after the owners had her for 4 years because she nipped their 5 year old son.
She is very affectionate and listens well to basic commands. Barbie is housebroke and crate trained and really doesn't need to be crated. She has very good house manners.
If she sees a squirrel, she can go over a 6 ft fence so if you have a lot of squirrels, she probably needs to be on a tie out, or be outside with her. Her foster mom hasn't had any problems with her jumping her 5 ft vinyl fence.

Adopters must live within an hour's drive of St. Louis, MO.
Barbie's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
