Barista

This is Barista, a 2 year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix. Less than 48 hours after we had rescued Renna, our emaciated little female brindle dog, the Dog Warden informed us this stray had been brought in. He was an emaciated male and had the exact same characteristics as Renna. Though they were found miles apart, we feel certain they were dumped by the same owner. Barista is 2 years old and came to us weighing 22 lbs. After a month of good food and love, he weighed 33 lbs and was ready to find his forever home. He too is an absolute lovebug and is great around people. He is almost too responsive to commands as he is easily frightened by a stern voice and drops to the ground and shows his belly. He was obviously mistreated and we intend to find a home that will give him love and tell him that he is a good boy every day! The last photo is "before" Barista's transformation.
