My Story

Meet Barley! Breed: Lab Terrier Mix (and several other breeds) Age: About 4 months Weight: About 25lbs (and growing) Barley is an all-around great family dog! He has soft fur, long legs, and a loving personality that makes him an ideal addition to any home. Here’s a little more about this wonderful pup: Crate Trained: Barley is crate trained and sleeps through the night without a peep. He willingly goes into his crate and is content spending time there at night or when his foster family is out running errands. Housebroken: Barley is 99% housebroken and rarely has an accident. If he does, it’s usually because his foster family didn’t catch his cues to let him out in time. Playful: He loves playing with his toys and balls, whether it’s with a human companion or by himself. Barley is very smart and enjoys learning new things. Leash Skills: Barley walks well on a leash and thinks taking a walk is a great adventure. He loves exploring the world around him. Dog-Friendly: Barley enjoys playing with other dogs, both big and small. He’s very social and gets along well with his furry friends. Kid-Friendly: He’s a great companion for the young boy in his foster family, often roughhousing and playing together. Barley’s playful and gentle nature makes him a fantastic friend for kids. Barley is a delightful dog who will make any home a wonderful place. He’s loving, smart, and ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever family.
