Barney

Hi everyone, my name is Barney. I received that name from the man who saved me because I was stranded in the loft of a barn. It was way to high for me to jump. I was rescued by hoisting me out the barn loft window. Thank goodness that Safe Pet Project and Nottely Oaks Animal Hospital got involved. I am currently in a program called "No Paws Left Behind". This special program takes dogs like me and make sure we are healthy, up to date on all vaccines, neutered and microchipped. I am ready for adoption! As you can see I am a very handsome boy. I love kids, adults, people in general. I also, like other dogs. Cats I'm not sure of since I have not been properly introduced to any cats. I really am a good boy. Not only am I housebroken I am also crate trained. However, a fenced in yard would be perfect or someone that loves taking walks. I'm close to 2 years old and like to exercise. My foster Mom is fabulous. However, she has Amos her dog and cannot take care of two dogs at the present time. So she is making sure I'm socialized and loved until the perfect family comes along to adopt me. I am a very happy boy and I'm through with the "eat the furniture" puppy stage.
