BARNEY was brought to the shelter as a stray, so nothing is known about his background.
BARNEY was adopted recently, but he was returned because he urinated in the house and the person said he wasn't housebroken. BARNEY keeps his kennel clean at the shelter so we don't know what happened in his brief adopted home, but BARNEY may need help with housebreaking. He's a smart guy though so with a little time, along with your help, guidance and training, he'll likely pick that up quickly!
BARNEY is about 1 - 3 years old, he weighs 48 lbs, he is neutered, he's had his DA2PP and bordetella vaccines and he is listed as a Pit Bull Terrier mix. BARNEY is a super sweet, very friendly boy who loves people, enjoys a good walk and walks well on a leash!
BARNEY has been fine around the other dogs at the shelter, but NO CATS, please! Please bring your kids and other dog(s) to the shelter for a meet and greet with the help of the warden or deputies just to be sure everyone gets along before taking BARNEY home!
