Barney

Barney was at the county shelter, as a stray. We could not believe that this sweet boy was not claimed. He has been living with 5 other dogs and gets along great with them. He loves running around exploring the back yard. Wrestling with his doggy friends, and sitting on the couch snuggling with his people. He is very affectionate with all humans. Seems to love older kids the best. Loves nothing more than to give kisses and play with toys. He is an excellent walker on leash and would love a family that gets him out and about on adventures. Barney’s adoption package includes the dog, neuter, rabies vaccine, Parvo distemper vaccine, bordetella vaccine, microchip, deworming, heartworm test with preventative, and a flea and tick treatment. We are a force free positive based only rescue. That means we do not adopt out to anyone who uses shock, prong, or choke collars. Or any one that uses any training methods that hurt, startle, or otherwise punishes the adopted dog. We believe in teaching the dog what behavior is wanted not punishing them for unwanted behaviors. And we have excellent trainers that can help you learn the best practices for teaching your dog how to live in our crazy human world.
