Barrett was picked up on New Year's Eve in 2023 after he lost a fight. He was used as a bait dog and dumped to die. We got the call and went out to pick him up. It was one of the hardest cases in rescue I have seen and I have seen too much. Barrett took months to heal and now that he is ready for a home, no one has stepped up to adopt. He is picky about friends and who can blame him. He doesn't know who to trust but I will say he loves people. He is kennel trained and ready to start his life over.
