Bashful - Such Pretty Eyes

Meet Bashful! This stunning girl found herself in a high kill shelter, in danger of losing her life. She is safe in our foster home in Seattle now and she is just a delight! From her foster family: Bashful is super sweet with both people and dogs. She is timid and does best when you give her the space to approach you. She does not jump on you unless she's being playful. She is very independent and likes to explore off leash around our house already! She likes to keep you in her line of sight and will follow you, at a distance! She has great instincts (knows commands like 'potty', 'food', 'come', 'sit') and is very comfortable both indoors and out. She likes to chase house flies! She settled down in our home on day 1! Sleeping through the night (7+ hours!) with zero accidents! She goes potty outside within 1-2 minutes. She eats all of her food and quickly. She isnt fussy and tries any bits of food we give her; carrot, peanut butter, ice, chicken, lamb. She drinks a fair amount of water. She spent a day around our friend's kids and was very comfortable with them picking her up, playing with them, chasing them around etc. She is very gentle with them too! We introduced Bashful to an older male dog and she quickly learnt to step away when he snarled at her! She absolutely loved him and would try very hard to sniff/ make friends. She exhibited submissive behaviors with him (laying on her back, crouching low etc) Bashful really is one of the smartest and sweetest dogs we've taken care of. We especially love her independent personality (For e.g. when she's tired, she goes to her crate/ bed and takes a nap!) Bashful will be vaccinated and chipped. She will be spayed between 8-12 months at our cost. Her adoption fee is $495 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.
