Baxter 6970

Two-year-old Baxter showed his patient self as he stood perfectly still while the human rather clumsily attached the brightly colored bandana. Baxter interacts nicely with humans of all descriptions and dogs of all varieties and is compassionately sharing his kennel with an American Bully dog. Baxter is a quiet, friendly, even-tempered, and peacefully natured canine who gazes up at you with compellingly persuasive gentle eyes. He is a fun-loving dog who entertained the human with his inimitable yearning to extricate a lonely hot dog treat submerged 5 inches under water in the bark park doggy wading pool. We think that he had never been in this situation before and he had to develop the courage and the technique to paddle the treat closer to him and then hold his breath long enough to grasp the delicacy. It took quite a few tries but he kept coming back to the pool until he had succeeded. Of course, the smiling human then had to give him another opportunity with a similarly placed prize. Baxter is a relaxed, good-natured canine who performs an instant sit on request and has a great desire to please his human friend.
