My Story

*Courtesy post** Meet Beanie! She is a sweet little mixed breed who loves to be with her people. While she is still getting the hang of fetch, she loves to play chase in the yard, go for walks, do scent training, and learn new tricks. She is very intelligent and food-motivated, so be sure to have a list of tricks as she will learn them very quickly! She already knows sit, stay, come, lay down, paw, roll over, and leave it. Beanie is also pretty good at recognizing which toys she can chew and which objects she can’t (but be careful with smelly things like socks!). And don’t be fooled by her “husky sounds” when she sees other dogs; Beanie is a gentle girl when playing with dog friends and respects other dogs’ wishes when interacting. She just likes to make it known that she wants to say hi! Beanie also responds best to positive, force-free training methods to boost her confidence. Beanie can be a little shy with new people, but once she warms up she will be sure to show you her silly side. Beanie would benefit from a home where her owners will focus on providing her with regular physical and mental enrichment. She would also do better in a home with a fenced-in yard to freely run and explore. You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please contact [email protected] or [email protected]
