Hi, my name is Bear.
If you’re looking for a big, loving friend who is laid back and won’t run you ragged, then I’m the guy for you! The people who found me in the desert six months ago said that I am a tolerant, sweet dog who has “been through a lot.” They said that although I’m OK with kids, I really just want to be loved by adults. They would have kept me forever, but I’m a pretty big guy at 95 pounds, so it got a bit expensive to feed me in addition to the two other dogs they already had. I’m leash trained, house trained (either with a doggie door or “asking,” I can do both), and know verbal and hand commands like “sit, stay, and lie down.” I’m a neutered, black Lab mix, who, they said, is a “lazy dog,” so maybe it would do us both some good if we made each other get out and exercise a bit more (well, maybe not so much in the heat of the summer, but early mornings might be good!). I know that I can add a lot to your life, so please come visit me – I love company and would like the chance to tell you the many ways I can change your life!
