Beau

Unfortunately Beau was returned to us because he was having issues with the male in the household. Beau had previously been pretty abused by an ex boyfriend that was living in the house when he was originally adopted, he had to actually get sutures in his leg because of the abuse. So because of that Beau has major trust issues with males. The most recent bf in the previous adopters house, ended up grabbing Beau by the collar and Beau panicked and bit him. With Beaus history of abuse, this is not surprising to have a reaction like that. Beau has been introduced to a male at the vet clinic and he was apprehensive to approach, but came with coaxing and allowed petting and then started wagging his tail. He is just extremely broken from the abuse and needs someone very patient and that is possibly a female only household. Beau is still very much a puppy and unfortunately was always left in a kennel (due to the previous owners work schedule, and the boyfriend in the house not wanting to handle him) so Beau needs help with house training and basic training. I'm currently trying to find a foster home for him, but am not having the best of luck. It will be a challenge for me to find the perfect home, but with all the odds against him, I think we will find that perfect home for him. He is still under a year old and I know he can recover from the abuse he has endured. Beau is fully vetted and beyond ready to go to his new home.
