I'm Becky, a 5-year-old 55 lbs female Labrador Retriever looking for my forever home. I've had a bit of a rough start, being abandoned near a rural chicken coop, but thanks to some kind souls, I've been rescued. I'm a social butterfly with a heart as big as my paws. It doesn't take me long to warm up to new people—I'll be nudging you for pets and belly rubs in no time. I get along great with other dogs, always up for a playdate and ready to make new friends. However, I do have a bit of a protective soul, so if another dog challenges me, I might stand my ground. Just something to keep in mind. I'm well-behaved on walks, although I might need a gentle reminder not to pull too hard on the leash. When it comes to strangers, I'll give a little bark to let you know someone's approaching, but I'm calm and collected in my kennel. I'm an outdoor enthusiast when it comes to bathroom breaks—I prefer the great outdoors for that. And did I mention how smart I am? I've mastered basic commands like sit, paw, and stay. I might not guard my food, but if another dog tries to sneak a nibble, I'll definitely let out a warning growl. So, what do you say?
