Meet Beetle, the 4 year old terrier mix. This boy came in fearful, timid, and was completely shut down. He was picked up by our officers, after a 2 hour long pursuit. We found out after the fact, that he was tied up to a pole outside of an animal hospital and when the staff came in to take him inside, he got loose and that is when we got the call to help find him. Since he has been with us, he has started to open up and even wags his tail now when he sees his shelter buddies! He also seems to be very housebroken! Beetle knows some cues such as "sit" and "stay" and really enjoys playing with toys! At this time, it is recommended he goes home with teens, 14 and up.
