**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. For adoption information go to: www.homewardbounddogrescue.com. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics. This is Bella. She is a 1 yr. old shepherd/husky mix around 50 lbs. Bella came to the shelter after another dog had to be removed from the home due to it’s condition. They had several animals and some were okay but others were not, luckily for Bella she was okay. She is a good girl that walks well on leash and has done well with other dogs at the shelter. She knows basics as far as sit and stay and will jump up into the car for rides. She previously lived with a small child and was fine with her. She is also fine with cats and just ignores them if they ignore her. We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
