Hi, I'm Bella! I am 6.5 years old, spayed, current on my vaccines, and I'm being fostered in Oak Harbor, WA. My journey to being rescued by MLBR was not easy but I'm here now, soaking up all the love a Boxer could dream of. I have the wiggles, as every good Boxer-girl should, and I love giving kisses. Personal space, what's that? I need to establish trust before you do too much with my feet, but my foster mom is working on playing with my feet and I am not having any issues. I've heard people say that I am a petite Boxer, but my foster mom says I have a full-size Boxer personality! After two weeks of very slow introductions to my foster fur-siblings, (there are three of them), I became an accepted member of the pack. With a properly fenced back yard, I love to run - full tilt, ears back, smile on my face! Then, afterwards, I'm ready for a good cuddle on the couch. I am a curious girl, I know my name, and I kennel beautifully even though I would rather be in bed with you. I would thrive in a home either with dogs my size, or where I get to have my people all to myself. I do great with kids that can handle my zest for life, so dog-savvy children would be ideal. I am mildly interested in my foster mom's chickens because they make funny noises, so I think I might be okay with other small animals living in my new home. When it comes to walking on-leash, I'm pretty good, although I do like to pull a little; but when I'm told that's not okay, I redirect my attention elsewhere.
