Bella had a rough start in life but her future is bright!
Her original owners were in and out of jail. One of their friends took ownership of her, but he struggled with substance abuse and homelessness.
After an incident, animal control stepped in and took her to a shelter. A rescue was notified and pulled her before she was even fully checked in to the shelter.
Bella has been living in a foster home with several other dogs. Her best buddy is a puppy that is her same age. The two of them enjoy chasing each other and just hanging out.
Bella has done well with both large and small dogs but her energy level makes her more suited for dogs around her own size.
She has a lot of energy and tends to try to jump up on people, so she would do best in a home without little kids. She is learning basic commands and tries hard to please.
She tends to pull on a leash, but is not reactive to other dogs she passes.
She has not yet been cat tested.
She is a good eater and does not show any signs of food aggression.
Bella will do best with an active family who will continue to work with her on basic commands. She is a very happy girl... and smiles with her eyes!
Bella is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and is negative for heartworms and tick-borne illnesses.
