Meet Bella, a 3-year-old black lab mix who narrowly escaped euthanasia at a high-kill shelter in Texas through no fault of her own. Weighing in at 66 lbs, Bella is one cool pup and a favorite here at our rescue—and it’s easy to see why! Bella is a gorgeous, regal girl with a wonderfully balanced medium energy. She’s not one to bounce off the walls, but she carries herself with grace when she’s outside. Miss Congeniality of the canine world, Bella gets along with all different kinds of dogs and is a beloved member of several playgroups. Her gentle and confident demeanor makes both humans and dogs feel comfortable in her presence. Affectionate and loving, Bella adores attention from her humans but don't worry, she's not needy and she is not a barker. She’s the strong, silent type who settles in comfortably no matter the setting. Whether it’s a bustling park or a quiet living room, Bella’s confidence and calm nature make her a joy to have around. She’s also a pro in her crate, adding to her list of stellar qualities. Now, while Bella would absolutely love a yard to romp around in—imagine her graceful leaps and bounds—but it’s not a requirement. She’s perfectly happy with daily walks, enjoying the sights, smells, and sounds with her favorite human and canine companions. Plus, you get the added bonus of a built-in workout buddy!
