Bella is a 6 year old pitty mix with perfect manners! She knows how to sit, shake, spin, lie down and would do just about anything for a treat! Her favorite past times are rolling around in the grass on a sunny day or burrowing under a blanket when it's time to chill. She is 100% house trained and does not need to be in a crate when left alone. She has great leash manners and loves going for walks. She is a more dominant female dog, but she is good with both cats and dogs with the appropriate introduction and separation during feeding times. She is very loyal to her person and is always making eye contact in new situations. She is a little timid with new people but quickly warms up with treats. Bella is a near perfect dog and is going to make an amazing forever companion!Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet. Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees: Dogs over 6 months old: $100 Puppies under 6 months: $200.
