Belle was previously adopted and brought back to the shelter at no fault of her own. Her owner could no longer keep her. Since arriving back at the shelter, our veterinarian observed multiple tumors all over Belle's body. Unfortunately, our vet is unable to remove the tumors due to the margins and the likelihood of the tumors reappearing. Our medical team's best guess (without more testing) is that Belle has mast cell tumors and doesn't have a great prognosis. We'd love to get Belle out of the shelter and into a home so she can live out her remaining days on the comfort of a couch!
Belle is an absolute sweetheart who looks so cute strutting around the yard. She is very potty trained and would do best in the home where she can start off as the only pet in the home while she adjusts. She would prefer a home without cats.
