Ben

Meet Ben! He is about 4 years old and gorgeous boy, knows some commands, and loves to play. Ben loves going on walks. He has some puppy energy but is doing great in obedience training at his foster home. He is crate and house trained. He is so eager to learn and catches on to things so quick. He gets along with all other pups he meets as well as lives with kitties in his foster home! Ben lives with 4 kiddos in his foster home and loves them all- his silly personality comes out and he loves playing with his toys and the people he loves. Ben came to us from an animal control facility on 9/6/22. He DOES NOT have a bite history. He has been overlooked for a long time, mostly due to his size, breed, and color; all working against him. Ben is looking for someone who will look past his physical traits and look inward to his lovable goofy personality instead. The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a resucue verses a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
