Ben is a 3 year old Dutch shepherd mix with a very unique background. This handsome guy is a trained PTSD service dog who was a abandoned at the shelter by another rescue group. Ben needs a home, but just as importantly, he needs a job. He is good with kids and other dogs. The trainer who worked with Ben will give him a (free!) refresher course whenever he is adopted. While we know that Ben would make a good pet for just about anyone, we really want to emphasize his background and make sure that it will be appreciated and utilized in his new home.
