Benji

Benji is built like a potato and his personality is bold and charming! This 6 yr old mixed breed is 11 lbs, heartworms negative, and has a nubby tail which we love. He was surrendered to the shelter with another male dog who was adopted. Without meeting the other dog, we know Benji was the boy in charge! He is friendly with other dogs but if a big dog looks at him a certain way he was bark and chase them away. He is quite hilarious and gives us kind of a Napoleon/ little dog syndrome. He is affectionate and loving and does well with respectful children. He would do fine as a solo dog and would most likely get along with any other dog who is friendly and respectful. This potato is a couch potato. No need to invite him on the couch because he is already there! Barking is hot or miss but generally if he starts barking and we ask him to stop he does. He definitely is an alert dog and will give you a heads up if someone is at the door. This dogs personality cannot fully be captured without meeting and getting to know this little guy.
