Benji

Benji is a fluffy pup whose big size might fool you into thinking that he's an adult...but this cutie is still a kid at heart looking for PAWrents to love & teach him how to be a big boy! He has only experienced outdoor living but was house trained for the occasional indoor escapade. Benji was once attacked by another male dog & has been very dog-shy since then. We know that he doesn't like small dogs (perhaps they are sized too much like cats!). The dream home for him would allow him interaction with his owner & time outside in a nice fenced space. Our team has worked with Benji on walking on a leash, & he's made big improvements but is very strong. A best fit would be a home who has a safe outdoor space for him to play in, instead of getting his exercise through walks. The ideal owner would be an experienced dog owner who can continue working with the boundaries we've set. Any adopter will get private lessons from the volunteer who has worked hard to help Benji be his best self. Please give him a chance! Adoption fee: $50+ tax
