Benji

Hi there! I'm Benji, a 2-year-old Pomsky with a fierce spirit, a brave soul, and a heart of pure gold. I came to Husky Haven of Florida with two deformed back legs and had to undergo two intensive surgeries. Thanks to their love and support, and months of rehabilitation, I'm now fully healed and living life to the fullest! I'm around 30 pounds and nearly housebroken—99% of the time, I scratch at the door to let you know I need to go out. I stay in a wire playpen and do very well there. I love playing with dogs of all sizes and I'm very gentle with kids, sitting patiently and wagging my tail as I wait for them to come up to me for pets. I'm also good with cats! I walk well on a leash, only pulling when I get excited or want to go my own way. My best traits are that I'm a cuddle bug, always happy and excited to see people, and my permapup nature. I do need to work on my stubbornness—if I want to walk left and you want to go right, I might put the brakes on! I also need to listen better when told to leave older dogs alone, but otherwise, I listen well. What makes me special? My zoomies, especially on the couch, are the cutest thing ever, and I'm always happy. Plus, my reactions when trying new foods and treats are sure to make you smile. With my beautiful brown eyes and a smile that will melt your heart, I'm just a joyful pup looking for a forever home to share my love and happiness with!
