Meet Benny! Benny had been in the shelter at the shelter since February, but was taken in by B&B July 2024. Benny had become a favorite of the shelter, they used him for dog testing for all incoming dogs and is friendly and wonderful with everyone he meets. Here is what the animal control officer had to say about Benny: “Benny was picked all alone as a stray in February, thus making him the longest resident of the shelter. Although staff truly loves Benny due to his incredible smile, calm personality, and extremely clean nature they truly want him to find that loving family to give him a great home. Benny has been around other dogs, cats, and kids with no issues except his playful personality. Please consider adopting Benny. Benny is not your average hound. Benny can be your new best friend.” Benny is a few years old, dog and kid friendly. He is extremely calm and easy going. His foster describes him as "the perfect family dog". He is non reactive to animals in their area to include cats, chickens and donkeys. He is playful with their 1YO male dog as well as her young children.
