My Story

Bentley is a former decompression program graduate with a huge fan club at PACC. This little fella makes a big impression! Heres what his volunteer friends have said about him: Today we walked around the lake with Bentley and his kennelmate, and they had a great time. Bentley was a brisk walker, was not reactive to other dogs in the park, and enjoyed some stops for sniffing. A real pleasure to walk! Bentley is just a joy to walk. He was easy to leash and walked very well. It seems he would walk forever at a nice brisk pace. Bentley is comfortable with touch, just needs a bit of time to warm up to you. As a decompression program graduate, Bentley can still be sensitive to new situations and needs a bit of time to feel safe with new people. In his most recent home Bentley was housebroken and crate trained. Heres what his former person said about him: Bentley is a very shy guy, however, when he's comfortable, he is sweet, funny, and gentle. He likes to walk around the back yard and explore while quietly taking in his surroundings. He is very smart and catches on quickly. Bentley is special- when he trusts you, it touches your heart in a very profound way, and his subtle but cute personality makes it easy to fall in love with him. Bentley shares his kennel with his brother and while they can be adopted together, it is not a requirement, and they can go to separate homes. Bentley needs slow introductions to other resident dogs and will do best in a home without cats. If you have a soft spot for our very sensitive pups, please ask to meet Bentley today!
