My Story

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. I am Sir Benton. But my close friends just call me Ben the Gentle Giant. I really am. I am very lovable, handsome, kind hearted and of course a gentle young boy. I am thankful that Safe Pet Project found me a wonderful foster home to stay at until I am adopted. I was put into their "No Paws Left Behind" program. Lucky Me! This program allows dogs like me to be taken care of. Safe Pet Project also has put me in a personal training program with my very own trainer. I love my trainer and I am learning so much. Everyone that works with me says I'm a really good boy. Come to find out I have real manners. I am being fostered by Mr. and Mrs. P. I get to sleep in the house because I am house trained and I don't do any of that silly puppy stuff like "eat the furniture". I am about 2 to 3 years old and very laid back. I love to cuddle up and be near people. I must admit I even tried to be a lap dog with Mrs. P. She said I was too big . I weigh about 62 pounds, have all my v accines and will be neutered and microchipped in Augu st through Nottely Oaks Animal Hospital. Did I mention that the staff at Nottely loves me too ! I don't like to brag but they say I'm fabulous. The best part of being fostered is I get visitors that are working with me so I can show off my talents. I also walk extremely well on a long leash. I have a very good sense of smell and absolutely love to go on long leisurely walks to take in all the aromas. Mr. P has a cat that lives with us. I must admit I'm a little shy of the cat and don't go after her. She rules the house and I am ok with that. I need someone to let me be part of their family. I don't bark much but I'm sure I would let you know if there is a stranger lurking around. A bonus would be a fenced in yard. If you want to meet me, please call the number below. You won't be disappointed. Safe Pet Project at 706-400-7076. Extension 2 7/19/24 7:29 PM
