Are you yearning for a well-trained, mature pup in your life? My name is Bessie and I am a 54 pound, 4 year old female Terrier mix that has been looking for my forever home for three years now! Everyone here is in complete shock that I haven’t been scooped up yet. Is it because I can’t live with other animals or is it because of my appearance? I swear I’m a good girl that will love you for the rest of my life! I may look tough, but I'm really just a big softie who loves belly rubs and watching romcoms. The kind people here say I am a huge foodie and know all of the best restaurants in town. Although I am a diva who doesn't like to share the spotlight, I'm still a respectful and ladylike pup who knows how to ignore the presence of other dogs while on outings. My favorite activities include getting snuggles, giving kisses, doing tricks for snacks, playing with toys, and going on adventures with my people. I recently went on a vacation away from the shelter to this place called FDF Canine Services where I learned to be a great canine citizen. Now everyone says I’m one well trained pup and should find my forever home here pretty soon. I’m hoping that is true, as I can’t wait to find a home where I can lounge on the couch with my favorite humans, while also occasionally taking a joy ride to Starbucks for one of those tasty pup cups.
