Hi!!! I'm Bessie! I came to 405 after roughing it on the streets with my puppies, they have all since grown up and flew the nest and found their forever families, so now it's my turn! My foster mom says that despite my shy exterior, I am a spunky, goofy little girl! It's taken me some time to adjust to relaxing and enjoying my time in a home, but I sure am learning how awesome it is!!! Cuddles on the couch is a particular new favorite past-time of mine! My foster mom says she is so impressed and proud of me with how much progress I am continually making!! I know all of my manners, so I don't go potty on the house or chew up anything I'm not supposed to! I love my crate, but I can be trusted in the house without it while you are gone! New people make me a little nervous, but once I get to know you, you'll see that I am full of so much love and don't have a mean bone in my body! I can be quite the goofball once I open up. I just take a little bit of time to make sure I know you will be nice to me, but a snack incentive will definitely help! I LOVE other dogs and have never met another pup I don't like, and my momma instincts still kick in with my foster siblings- I am always cleaning their faces and making sure they are okay when they aren't somewhere I can see them! While I am getting used to being an indoor pup, the great outdoors is where I thrive and am my happiest! I love to wrestle with my foster siblings in the yard, frolic and nap in the grass, play fetch (I will even throw the ball to myself if nobody wants to play with me!) and I consider myself a professional bird watcher. I have been working on leash training and my basic obedience, but I am a smart girl and will have the hang of it in no time! I have so much love to give and I can not wait to meet you!!!
