BETTY BOOP (Spayed!)

BETTY BOOP is the cutest young Hound/Lab mix lady. She arrived at the shelter in the early part of June 2024 and was estimated at 2 to 3 months of age at that time. She is currently housed with several other puppies. Luckily for her, she was selected to participate in a special program sponsored through a cooperative agreement between the University of Tennessee and Cumberland County Animal Shelter. As a result, she is being spayed on Tuesday, July 2. As a result, she will be able to go home the same day that she is adopted. She will return to the shelter after her spay and be available for adoption appointments beginning Friday, July 5. So, serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees at that time. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt BETTY. Even better, take a dog crate with you to that appointment. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
