Then check out this opportunity to FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT with Canine Haven Rescue! We are a foster-based rescue organization in the GTA. We can only help bring these dogs out of the shelter and to Canada if we have a foster (or foster to adopt) home for them. Fostering is free, all supplies are provided, and you get the opportunity to help a deserving dog! If you foster to adopt, you will have the option to adopt after approximately 2 weeks. Betty and her siblings were dumped at a very young age, but thanks to our dedicated partner, they all have bright futures ahead. Despite being overlooked due to her black coat, Betty is a delightful, playful pup ready to find her forever home. Betty has never experienced living indoors, so her new family should expect a period of adjustment. A home with another confident dog can help her feel more comfortable as she learns about her new environment. Betty’s future family should be committed to basic training, including house training, crate training, and leash walking. Establishing a routine and setting boundaries will help her succeed. True to her breed, she is eager to please and will form a strong, loyal bond with her humans. With love and patience, Betty will thrive and become a cherished member of your family.
