My Story

Betty Lou is a small female Dachshund mix born approximately February 20, 2023. Weighing in a whooping 15lbs, she’s a spunky fun filled fighter - having beat her battle with parvo survivor and is now a happy, healthy girl, looking for a forever home! She’s lived with all sizes of dogs but seem to like those her size or bigger. Cats are fun to chase but seems to be more in play than harm. She’s crate trained and mostly housebroken. Leash manners need work as do basic commands. The good news is Betty Lou is a smart cookie and eager to please, so the time dedicated to training her will most certainly pay off! Betty Lou will be best in an active household - another canine playmate is a bonus! Betty Lou will thrive in a home where she has humans and/or other dogs there to help her burn off her puppy energy. Training classes are always encouraged to help both human and canine connect and built a strong relationship for the lifetime of the dog. Fenced yards will be given preference. Children over age 5 please. Applications: www.mikeyschance.com
