OCTOBER 31, 2004: A man and his grown son came into Petsmart, and as soon as the father saw Big-guy, it looked like he melted and fell in love. The only concern that he had was that Big-guy might not get along with his jealous female German Shepherd, Sadie, and their two smaller dogs. Tina told them that we would do a home visit to see if all the dogs would get along, and the visit was successful!
The dogs sniffed each other, barked and ran very happily and playfully around their large backyard enclosed by a six-foot wooden fence.
Everyone is very happy and excited that Big-guy (who is being renamed Charlie) has joined his new, forever family!
OCTOBER 10, 2004:
Yesterday, Big Guy went to his very first adoption day. He was a very good boy and seemed to enjoy the attention.
OCTOBER 8, 2004:
This is a beautiful big, black chow/lab mix our employee named "Big Guy." We took him for his new arrival check up yesterday, and luckily is worm-free. We had him neutered and he's in a kennel that was vacant for only a few hours, so we're full up again!
